The English Bay Star Fleet season's finale had plenty of drama:
- Steve & Rob remembered how to win in a Star after 2 races and then it was business as usual. Nicely done boys!
- Henry's crew took a short swim mid gybe and was narrowly missed by yours truly trucking downwind.
- Al and Chuck stood by, as he was returned to Henry, shook it off and did two more races. Tough guy!
- As the wind increased, a weather separation mark was dropped by the RC and caught a few out. Oops.
- Stewart Martin, new helm with Rob Burton, climaxed his debut with a win in the final race.
- Alex is becoming a reaching start specialist! Plenty of smothered leeward boats offering some coaching!
- Grand Exulted Master Bill Burgess can find a hole at the mark from the port lay-line anytime he wants - Send It !
- Tuck taped on Sunday and good to go!
- Dennis offering to buy Henry a book for Christmas from ISAF.
- Largest OD fleet in the bay again - 8 boats and building.
- Curtain call- 3 Stars on 3 cranes lifting while the Dragons and 242's wait - a thing of beauty!
Good times in neoprene in the late October sunshine- thanks Brett for the RC work.
