Welcome Info - Please Read first

Hello fellow Star sailors. I've set this site up to make communicating amongst ourselves easier. On the fleet level you will be able to send out group notices to all members of a group (fleet). You'll be able to post schedules, meetings, photographs etc. to this site for all to see. You can write your own blog post and I hope we can encourage some of our experts to put some articles up here for us to read and enjoy. In short this is our website - please submit material and join in discussions, comment on blogs and generally participate.

Before you go further into the site read this

Its important that you get signed into the group for your fleet - just click on the link for your group on the lower left hand side of the page and find the link to join.

Now check out the events - look at the schedule. Please use the RSVP system for events in your fleet. You will quickly see how powerful this feature can be.

Send me your ideas for features on this site.

Have fun!

Star Class South American Championships

Congratulations to English Bay's own Ross Macdonald, who placed seventh in what appeared to be a very tough fleet. Ross and crew, Andre Lekszycki, placed as top North Americans at the South Americans, if that makes any sense. One look at the top 10 boats and you will see the who's who in Star racing and beyond.

Good work Ross!

English Bay Fleet Dues Please

Hi everyone in the English Bay Fleet. It's that time of year again and dues for 2010 should be sent to me ASAP so I can get them in to the International Office. Skips $95.00 and crew $45.00.

As mentioned in the AGM minutes it was suggested that crew who do not join the International are asked to pay $10.00 to the fleet which supports the years activities and maintain a zero budget account.

Please send cheques made out to the English Bay Star Fleet to:
