Kitsilano Invitational Regatta

KYC hosted a great regatta in sunny weather last weekend. The wind was frustratingly fickle and the RC worked hard to give us 4 races. Doug and 'Becca Smith visited from California and showed finesse in the tricky conditions. They captured first, but the dog fight was for the remainder of the podium, with four teams 2 points apart.

As usual the Saturday BBQ was amazing! It was great to see Foss, Daniel, David and Kate again.

New to our fleet were Ben Mumford and James MacDonald. They showed moments of brilliance and were bitten ( like the rest of us !) by a bad race.
