The English Bay Star fleet has been active and building strength. We recently had our District 6 (BC, WA and OR) Championship in Seattle. Three RVYC teams competed and finished behind Olympic Silver medalist Brian Ledbetter and Erik Bentzen - 2^ndAl Cullen & Dave Martin, 4^thHunter Lowden & Brett Wilson and 6^thBruce Long & Ray Rogers.

The Western Canadian Star Championship hosted by RVYC was won by Al & Dave, 2^ndBruce & Ray and 3^rdBen Mumford & Jason Vandergaag by a tie-breaker. The Fred Dill Memorial perpetual trophy was awarded by Barbara and Marian Dill to Al & Dave for 2019.

You will notice a few new names in the English Bay Star fleet. We are not surprised to see Hunter, Brett, Ben and Jason quickly finish at the upper end of the results!
