Gentlemen,
A report from the Starclass Long Range Planning Committee to the International Governing Committee. These are the bullet points that were discussed the most over the last year and a half amongst LRPC members. There were over forty two ideas presented by the committee. The top twenty six that seemed to have the most merit were simplified to these seventeen. Expect to see most of these points come into resolutions to vote on to the star class rules in the coming year.…

It's a sad day for sailing with the passing of Bart Simpson in San Francisco today. I spent some time sailing Finns from 2000-2006 and I ran into Bart at regattas where the Gold Cup and Masters crossed plus several winter circuits in Florida. He was a class act. In 2003 in the lead up to the US trials we ran a week long clinic at Lauderdale YC with Bart as the lead talent. The Canadian team, Ken Dool, Chris Cook as well as the usual contingent from across the pond were there. I remember one…

Hellooooooo Vancouver fleet and the rest of the gang including Oly!
We are close to getting enough boats for the NOOD regatta but need 2 more. Perhaps a few can travel for the event so we can all race? If we don't have 6 we can't do the regatta.
Right now there are 4 boats - so we only need 2 more. I am hoping a few of you guys will pass the work and rally! The competition will be keen as the Seattle gang is gearing up for NAs and Worlds so the competition…
