Alas I find I cannot get it together to fly out to Vancouver to get some Star racing in...therefore I am listing my Lillia 7197 for sale and asking $4500.  Two excellent sets of sails and Delta trailer all in excellent condition. Just a great opening regatta. On Saturday, 6 Stars had 5 races in a light easterly breeze.  There was lots of head scratching in the shifts and everyone had a few moments to lead.  Fishy and Andy Pitts joined us on Sunday to make 7 Stars. The westerly settled in and the sun came out. We had 4 races in a crazy spring runoff current, despite the ebb. Steve and Rob dominated with 4 aces to easily win the regatta. California Dream’n – time to get serious, boys! This is a big year for the EB Star Fleet particularly the North Americans and the Worlds. Al Cullen had some serious boat time in Florida and did amazingly well. Rob Burton & crew are out every weekend tuning. Fishy and 8017 are out as well.

Greetings members,

I am writing to you today in regards to the 2012/2013 ISCYRA Ballot that you may have recently received in the mail.

There is one amendment that I have particular concern about, which is Resolution #2 on the ballot form.  The resolution is to amend the required safety equipment to be carried aboard each vessel.  The proposed resolution deletes the requirement of a hand bailer, and anchor.

Budd Inlet Star Fleet would like to invite District 6 to our annual Black Star Regatta on April 28-29 in Olympia WA.  This will be the largest gathering of Stars in the district where we get from 25-30 stars out on the race course.  Most are older, under 7100, but all are welcome if you can ramp launch.  Otherwise contact us and we can loan you one of our local boats.
